I need a graphics artist for a Sidescrolling platform game. You will be required to be able to make basic cartoon 2D graphics with animation. I will post some examples later.

If you're thinking of using GameMaker, I could make the character sequences in flash, export them as .gif's and you could use  those, perhaps?

well me and cameron are going to be using Game maker for the client and C++ for the server i think. so that'd be great. the graphics artist would be an ingame mod too get Mod powers

C++ for everything. Gamemaker phails... Too easy to hack.

I was contemplating using gamemaker earlier this year, but then I started the project on Teh Pwnage forums, and I've had no time for anything -_-

game maker is good depending on what you wanna make. it isn't great for mass 3D games. but it is good for other things like platformers and physics based games and whatnot. so are you in Yklept?
